Binder Limited are looking for an experienced breakdown and service engineer. The role includes attending to properties and servicing/maintaining sewage treatment plants and pumping stations. Experience in working with electrical components, motors, submersible pumps and control circuits would be preferred.

We have bespoke service agreements for over 8,000 waste water systems across East Anglia and provide our clients with constant support. Our office is based in Ipswich, where the engineer will report to and complete training. Upon the completion of training, the role will largely be based from home with work instructions summaries and reports being sent electronically. The candidate must therefore be competent in using a computer. 
 
You will be provided with a company vehicle, tools and full training. As this role includes frequent independent work, it is essential that any potential candidate is confident working alone, can always maintain a responsible, reliable attitude towards any given job. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
Carrying out planned maintenance (Electrical and Mechanical) 
Identifying and repairing faults 
Carrying out refurbishments 
Providing detailed written summaries of the work carried out or of any further work required 
 
Key Skills 
Technical knowledge on the working of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations 
The ability to prioritise work effectively 
Must have excellent communication and organisational skills and be competent in completing detailed and accurate service reports both electronically and by hand. 
Be eligible to work in the UK & hold a full UK driving licence.

Call Out: 1 week in 9

We are currently looking to employ a full time and experienced ground worker within the sewage industry, working in East Anglia, living in a 10-mile radius of Ipswich 
 
Job Description 
We will be looking for an experienced ground worker with the ability to self-manage and work as part of a team, take and provide clear advice/instruction from management clients. Have a positive upbeat attitude to work with the ability to resolve and overcome problems, with a clean bill of health.

Binder Limited are currently recruiting for a Quotation Administrator to be responsible for the planning and costing of refurbishments within our service department based in Ipswich. 
 
Salary: – £30,000 + Depending on experience 
Working Hours: - Monday to Thursday 7:00 – 17:30 
Friday 7:00 – 17:00 
Pager Cover: 1 week in 8 
Holiday: 20 days + Bank Holidays 
 
Key responsibilities 
Review engineers reports to determine requirement of refurbishments 
Obtain prices and availability of products required for refurbishments 
Calculate the time and man power requirements of the refurbishment 
Calculate the value of work 
Provide a written quotation to the customers 
Create new stock items within the company’s inventory 
Create purchase orders for the items once the quotation has been accepted 
Consult with the customer with regards to planning of the refurbishment 
Liaise with customers on Technical queries/problems 
 
Key skills and experience 
Have technical knowledge on the working of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations

Binder is currently looking to employ a Secretary/Audio Typist to contribute to the Quality, efficiency and effective working of the business by providing audio typing and secretarial support to a very high standard. 
 
The role of Secretary/Audio Typist: 
 
Duties will include providing fast accurate typing of contractual documentation via audio dictation. 
Operate a desktop computer to compose and edit correspondence and memoranda. 
Proof-reading of all documents after completion 
Other Ad-Hoc Duties: 
 
Provide ad-hoc administrative / secretarial support such as, resolving a range of administrative problems and enquiries 
Complete applications to building control, Anglian Water, environment agency 
Coordinate with various staff for operational support activities such creating e files onto the database 
Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and other documents. 
Skills required for the Secretary/Audio Typist: 
 
PC literacy / keyboard skills e.g. Knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word. 
Highly organised; with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise demands. 
Good level of English / grammar with attention to detail. 
 
2 years secretarial experience preferred.
